1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Digital Abu Dhabi Card services, including the website at dhabibus.shop, mobile applications, and card services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Digital Abu Dhabi Card ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Card Issuance and Ownership

The Digital Abu Dhabi Card is issued by us and remains our property at all times. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or revoke your card at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

To obtain a Digital Abu Dhabi Card, you must provide accurate and complete information as required during the application process. You must be at least 16 years of age to apply for a card. Applicants under 18 years of age may require parental or guardian consent.

3. Card Use

Your Digital Abu Dhabi Card is for personal use only and is non-transferable. You must not:

  • Allow anyone else to use your card
  • Use the card for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Tamper with, damage, or modify the card
  • Use the card after its expiration date
  • Use the card if it has been suspended or canceled

You are responsible for all transactions made with your card, whether authorized by you or not, unless you have reported the card as lost or stolen in accordance with these Terms.

4. Card Balance and Payments

You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient balance on your card for your intended travel. We are not responsible if you are unable to use transportation services due to insufficient balance.

You can add value to your card through authorized recharge points, our website, or mobile application. All payments are processed in UAE Dirhams (AED).

We reserve the right to set minimum and maximum limits on card balances and transaction amounts. These limits will be communicated to you through our website or mobile application.

5. Fees and Charges

We may charge fees for certain services, including but not limited to:

  • Card issuance fee
  • Card replacement fee
  • Balance refund processing fee
  • Account maintenance fee

All applicable fees will be clearly communicated to you before you incur them. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, with reasonable notice provided to you.

6. Lost or Stolen Cards

If your card is lost or stolen, you must notify us immediately by calling our customer service at +971 2 555 1234 or through our website or mobile application.

You may be liable for any unauthorized transactions that occur before you notify us of the loss or theft of your card. After notification, your liability for unauthorized transactions will be limited in accordance with applicable law.

We may charge a fee for replacing a lost or stolen card.

7. Card Expiration and Renewal

Your Digital Abu Dhabi Card has an expiration date printed on it. You may not use the card after its expiration date.

We may automatically issue you a new card before your current card expires. If we do not issue a new card, you may apply for a new card through our website, mobile application, or service centers.

Any remaining balance on an expired card may be transferred to a new card, subject to our balance transfer policies.

8. Account Information and Communication

You are responsible for keeping your account information, including your contact information, up to date. You can update your information through our website or mobile application.

We may communicate with you regarding your card and account through email, SMS, push notifications, or other electronic means. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive such communications.

9. Privacy

We collect, use, and share your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and mobile application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website or mobile application without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the Services in the past six months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of our Services
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Your violation of any applicable laws, rules, or regulations

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our Services or contact us to request account deletion.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and changing the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
